  • Yamaha M108 in gloss black polyester for sale

    Yamaha M108 mid 1988

A highly sought after compact Yamaha M108 upright piano. This instrument is regarded as the definitive Yamaha console.  The touch and tone of the instrument is virtually unsurpassed by other consoles.  This piano is made in the Yamaha factory in Hamamatsu, Japan in mid 1988 according to the serial number: 4418958, and should not be confused with the English made Yamaha M108N.  The frame is stamped “MADE IN JAPAN” and as such the materials used in terms of the soundboard and action are that of the U series range. The instrument stands at 108cm as the model number suggests and features Yamaha's bell like tone and a forgiving touch to suit all pianists. The M108 is the perfect home piano both in terms of the sleek lines and gloss black finish (which is virtually unmarked), and the obvious quality of the instrument. Yamaha no longer make consoles anywhere in the world so the value of the M series is on its way up!

  • Kemble Yamaha Cambridge 1997 for sale

    Kemble Yamaha Cambridge 1997

Here we have a Kemble Cambridge studio in light oak, serial# 271478 dating the instrument from 1997. This Kemble is one made under Kemble’s administration by YAMAHA pianos. One will see many adverts for Kemble pianos that try to use the Yamaha association in order to make a sale. The fact is that most of them simply have nothing to do with Yamaha whatsoever as the Japanese company only had an association with the Kemble Company from 1986 and then only really started to manufacture pianos under the Kemble name from the early nineties.  This one however is a YAMAHA Kemble and the tell-tale signs are apparent. The Kemble sticker on the action is in exactly the same place as the Yamaha placement of their sticker, the bolt down fall board which is an exclusive Yamaha feature is present and the font used for the serial number is that of Yamaha. If that’s not enough just to play and listen to the instrument is sufficient to make one realise that this is a piano made by a manufacturer who knows what they’re doing. Simply must be played and heard.

    RÖNISCH 110 NS #114836 circa 1970

This small German Ronisch piano truly has everything a grand piano has to offer and will surprise you with its extremely precise touch. It features a Renner action, worthy of the finest German pianos, which will delight even the most demanding pianists. RÖNISCH pianos are made to this day in Germany. They are piano makers of the highest of quality with all their piano models superior in comparison to most ranges of pianos from other brands, dating from 1845 to the present day. The serial number #114836 dates the instrument to 1970. The soundboard is hand made solid spruce, the action is supremely responsive and the instrument presents a beautiful tone and voice. Good looking striped mahogany Fazer (pronounced Fatzer). This instrument is made in Helsinki, Finland.

The instrument presents a mellow tone with a firm action, quite reminiscent of a grand piano. It also has a practice pedal for quiet late night practice to keep your neighbours happy.

This is a professional grade high quality instrument. It plays like a far more expensive instrument and is a great choice for those of a standard who want a piano to take them all the way.

  • Eavestaff 109

    Eavestaff 109 circa 2005

This visually stunning Eavestaff plays and sounds as good as it looks. The instrument dates from circa 2005, made by the Yantai piano corporation. The instrument has taken the one owner’s children through a couple of grades and then left to stand as a furniture piece. This piano must be seen to believed.

The instrument has been serviced and regulated, as are all our pianos, so it plays like a new piano. It has a medium to light action and a wonderful tone. The case is faultless and finished in the most wonderful plum mahogany which is attractive to say the least. The action is clearly pristine from a lack of use in its short life.
